What is Drupal good for?
Have been wondering what is the big deal about Drupal and website content management systems? For one, they are very easy to update and manage. If you have a large and dynamic website there is no substitute for a website CMS in dealing with loads of articles and images - believe me I've tried and it's ugly!
Case in point: the Sierra Club - Rio Grande Chapter. This website has multiple editors, and many more contributors. Yet, they can manage one primary website with five sub-websites, about sixteen content categories and they add multiple new articles per week. Browse through NMSierraclub.org and you'll see how the local Sierra Club maintains a large and rapidly changing website with a small group of volunteers.
Of course, a Drupal-based website can do many other things. Consider this the first in a list of the advantages of dynamic websites over static HTML.
